    Are you sure itís Soviet M32 belt? For me it looks like not a Soviet one. Too narrow buckle and four rows of stitches. For example Polish wz.24 officers belt is very similar.

    Strange?. Question is how did it end up here in Latvia? My grandfather said that he traded it in the 70s or 60s. Raul

    It looks like a Sam Browne belt missing some shoulder strap fittings.

    Can’t say whether it’s British, French or Polish, these had very similar looking, maybe Latvian army had similar officers belt before the war?
    Otherwise I’d think that maybe some Soviet officer brought that after the invasion of Poland in 1939.

    Maybe soon after WWI Great Britain or France supplied Latvian army with their uniform pieces? You should need to look for details to find from which country does this comes from- Poland, France, UK or maybe someone else also used this pattern of officers belt.
