These are new to me, but then I don't spend much time looking at Chinese and other websites. Quite a while back I almost purchased a Russian Mid 19th century saw back sword that was really well made from India or Pakistan, complete with the original style markings. The thing that gave it away was the leather, which made me look at it much closer deciding it was not for me. With the two here not giving me a really good feeling, it's too bad that you cannot use your sense of smell online, with the bottom line for me being that I also don't particularly like some of the small details. But you could always ask for some really closeup detailed phographs to see what other clues might be present. Best Regards, Fred

From the looks of just the grip, I'd say you should probably be speaking Chinese...
