Some Soviet Relics

Article about: by douglas2496 Hi everybody, just thought I would show some items from my collection recovered from the Eastern Front. I did not dig these myself, but am pleased to find these sort of items

    Hi everybody, just thought I would show some items from my collection recovered from the Eastern Front. I did not dig these myself, but am pleased to find these sort of items are surprisingly inexpensive. These relics are some of my favorite pieces from my collection as I think they are very evocative of the war in the East, and I cant resist personal items which seem to bring history to life. Some of the items are from unknown locations, the cigarette tins are from Courland and the messtin from Demjansk, apparently.
