    Default Soviet Binoculars

I bought these binoculars yesterday, I'm not sure what they are but I liked them and it seemed a decent price. I think they are probably commercially produced for civilian sale from the markings, since it is in English especially. Any more info is welcome on them cool militaria

    Hi Andy, you are correct.

The "OTK" stamp on the case is an inspection marking.

They are dated 1986 on the case.

    Cheers, Ade.

Very nice binoculars. I don't think you would get such a good quality thick leather case these days. Here is my example. Slightly earlier and made I believe for the 1980 Olympics in Moscow.
