    Default Soviet Chemical Item?

Hello, Need help to identify what could be a Russian equipment item from desert storm, gulf war in Iraq. It came from a destroyed "chemical and medical" unit that apparently traveled together. Looks like some type of plotting board with sliding rulers and scales. I also have a Republican Guard record book (partially translated) from the same destroyed unit, all hand written, listing troop movements, orders and daily military log events. It is not Soviet so I hesitate to list it here. I hope to have it translated some time in greater detail.

I had not considered artillery. It was found in a chemical/medical unit along with reference books on chemical training. I also found gas masks, chemical suits and decontamination equipment.

So, one scale says- the wind angles, the couple of others says- CHARGE. МБС -Метео Баллистический Сумматор (MBS) is Meteo Ballistic Adder
And as a part of equipment for artillery commanders trucks

Thanks for the kind assistance. Okay, so it is apparently an artillery tool. Would the usefulness have been to plot chemical munitions firing somehow? The unit it came from was definitely not an artillery battery.

It looks vry similar to the devices issued to British civil defence units for calculating the distance & severity of nuclear strikes.
