    Default Soviet Military Tripod (?)

    Hi Guys,

Saw this tri-pod - according to the seller it's a Russian military tripod, but he has no clue what they used it for...I'm guessing for a binocular or some sort of optic device.

Did anyone see something just like this - and can confirm that it's military not for civil use? (I googled and did not see this type)

    What would be a price?

    THX in advance!

    Cheers,
    Fabe

Looks like a modern commercial surveying tripod.
    Any markings?

If soviet, it would have a makers mark from one of the soviet optical factories. Again this is a survey tripod, not for things like trench binoculars and would have lots of non military applications.

Thank you guys, I don't think that it has any markings, so I'm passing this one...
