Article about: Hi, Please help me. I found this object near to a WWII Soviet trench. Can it be a part of a Soviet landmine? Thank you for your answer in advance!

    It appears to be a fuse for a grenade or landmine, German or Soviet, I do not know.

    It seems to me just a one piece pin with two flat spring. 4,5cm the complete size.

    The knurled parts on the stem indicate that it is threaded together.
    Corrosion will likely prevent you from taking it apart.

    I agree with Ralph that it is a fuse. Couldn't figure out yet whether German, Soviet or even something else. Don't forget there are tons of variations of fuses.

    Looks like an igniter rather than a fuze, but I don't think it's German.
