    Hi Guys, a long while since I have added any ration tins to my collection.

    This is a hard to find tin, as it formed part of the AFV ration pack and few of these seem to be on the market.

    This one was a very kind gift from a friend as I have helped him out on some recent purchases.

    How interesting, would this powder have been added to water to make a drink? Forgive my ignorance, I've never seen anything like this.

    Nice piece Ade. My Civil War hobby has caused me to develop quite a soft spot for military tin ware

    Commonly known as 'Screech' if I recall, due to the faces pulled when drinking it.....

    Personally I always prefered freshly squeezed Kool Aid.
