    Hello!

    I made this fleamarket find, it is an painted aluminium container, and it smells very much of rubber inside.
    But can anyone tell me whats it made for and possibly age?

    It looks to be a Vietnam era case for a Starlight scope or other equipment.

    Thanks Gagevet but i think its to big for that.
    I forgot to give you guys the dimensions, its quiet big, lenght is 123 cm:s approx. thats 50 inces, then approx 10 inches high and 12-15 inches deep.

    Definitely NOT for a Starlight scope, they're big and heavy, but not that big, as I know from personal experience.

    I seen larger boxes of this type that were used for Electrical insturments ect by the Canadian Forces.
