    One of the antique shops on my regular route. It was a good price as well which is always nice.

    Nice pick up Jerry I have one of these kicking around some wear as well I remember when are kids wear young I would play hide and seek with them and rattle it as I looked for them giving them a chance to run and find a better hiding location before I got there.

    I had another look today and found the makers mark and date, RCO -I think- 1942 which is very clear. I also found one for sale where it was stated as being the "scarce heavy duty armed forces version".
