G'day All
I need help on this belt I've recently obtained from NL
Is it British (pretty sure it is) and what is the maker (as I haven't come across this maker before)?
Thanks

Hi Rene
From what is showing of the belt, I would definately say British 1937 ptn.
I cant help yo with the makers mark though, sorry.
Does it have all brass fittings and slides or is it fitted with webbing slides? (Just being nosey!)
Regards etc.
Ian
It looks like an unissued 37 pattern webbing belt, need to see the whole belt with buckles and slides to be sure, cant help with the id
Here's the whole belt
Thanks
Hi Rene

G'day All
I've had a first hand opinion on this one and it's Aussie made! going by the green in the weave, and you can see this in a previous post
Common Aussie 37 gear
- a little rarer than a British one! I did want a British made belt though
At a another guess possibly Indian made, most of there gear had a makers name code and date but no Broad arrow etc.
Nige.

Hi Rene, I would lean toward indian manufacture mate.....as you say Aussie made gear should have the D^D marking also the distinguishing green is generally more textured from my knowledge ? I will have a look and see if I cant take a couple of comparison pics for ya.....
