I remember a dealer selling WW2 dated cans for £10 about 5 years ago!...
THX, the seller just informed me that; no holes...the price is about 13 EU.
Good price!...
Nice early dated can and the price is ok ,
I am always amazed how quick the allies were to dump their "flimsys" and copy the German design EXACTLY!!
( well NOT the Yanks - they doggedly hung onto their design that leaked and split )
I have a couple of allied ones ( US & British )

update: received the can this week...nice one! probably around 90% original "sand" paint is still present.
one minor gripe: there must be a very small "invisible" hairline crack (can't even see it with eyes) at one of the corners - is there any way to "fix it" with somekind of clear filler / "glue" rubbing it with a finger?
If not, it's ok - won't be using it, but I figured I ask...of course any "visible" correction or welding is out of the question...
See last pic with "wet-spot" on the upper right corner:
As far as I know, it was a "barn-find" here in Hungary - so it must've been a German loot - for there were no British forces in Hungary during WW2...
