Default British brace-like 37ish pattern bits, ID please?

    Seasons Bleatings and all that.
I've got a bunch of bits that I'm not sure about and hope someone can help id them:
First up are some 1937pattern (ish) brace-like bits:

    A) pair of Braces Normal L&R (so pre-1944?), measuring 1in wide, 49in long overall, with 11.5in long shoulder flares. Markings are 3 serial no.s {634,623,243} and {ECOTC}{Eton/Epsom/? College Officer Training Corps}. Most unusually they apear to have Nickel plated tips.
ARE THESE 37Pat, Private Purchase, Web Equipt Officers (pre 37) OR WHAT?

    B) two brace like straps, both 55.5in long overall, with 14in long flares. The brass tipped example is marked 'MECo1943' and came attached to an Officers Haversack, but i am unaware of a secific Ofs Hsk Strap. The example with nickel plated tips is marked 'MECo 61194-66' + 'crown/75'.
POST WAR SIGNALS STRAPS ARE SIMILAR IN SIZE (don't have one to hand to measure) AND ALSO HAVE SHINY SILVER COLOURED TIPS (think these are stainless steel rather than nickel, but not sure).
ARE THESE PLAIN SIGNALS STRAPS......OR SOMETHING ELSE?

    Thanks for looking/helping,
    JIM.
