Hello dear collectors, I just bought this canteen and there's marking stamp G.M / 1943 on below side.
So is there anyone know what company who made this canteen? And is the marked stamp british canteen rare?

I cannot help on the maker sorry.
It is rare to see any stamps on these, as the cloth cover which is sewn in place would normally cover them up.

Well at least the rareness factor is make me happy. And its different with my 2 others british canteen. Thank you for the reply too.
But still, having an unsolved history - mystery of one of our collection will make our curiosity tingling for a long time.
