British 'case spare valves'??

Article about: Hello i got this item from the flea market 2 weeks ago for a very good price (5euros) and i wanted to know if this is British ww2 box...1942 maybe?

    Not sure on the date, but WWII is probably correct and it has a ZA stores code which is correct for Signals equipment, a good pick up for 5 euros.

    Yes, the stores codes and the broad arrow markings are typical for British items. I assume it is for wireless set no. 19 and no.22. The WS no.22 was developed in 1942, so it cannot date from before then.

    Jerry is correct on all counts (as per usual)

    The only thing I can add is the "T" stands for Tropical. The 22 set was used by Airborne Forces.
