It looks like a Canadian-made gasmask, partly made by General Steel Wares (GSW). Does it have a Canadian Broad Arrow?
These masks can contain asbestos , such as chrysotile and crocidolite. Chrysotile can cause cancer, and crocidolite is up to five hundred times more likely to cause mesothelioma.

It looks like the canister on yours says "FOR ARP USE ONLY", so it was use by Air Raid Wardens...
Not sure of it has the broad arrow or not, i saw it for sale locally for 60$ CAD which seems reasonable just wanted some opinions.
I'd say that is a standard price for these masks. I would pass on it, as your health is more important...
