Default British small pack / pouch - does anybody know what it is?

Does anybody know what this small pack is? I've had a look on karkeeweb.com and can't seem to find one. I assume it is Post War unless anybody can tell me different.
It is approx 9" (23cm) x 6 1/2" (17cm) and 4 1/2" (12cm) deep. There is a single strap seen on one side with a buckle the other so it can be worn like a satchel.
It doesn't appear to have been modified
