    Hi René, these were certainly used by aircrew and Paratroopers in the aircraft. I think some books have kind of pushed that idea forward. "Airborne" will always sell an item. I think they saw use with tank crews too. But I suspect they were more of a general issue item?

    Either way it is a good item. I have actually used one at a living history event.

    Yes it did! We were keen to see if it still worked, hence the test.

    it was a poor transfer of the decal and re done on top, I can see visually through it
