Does anyone have any information about its original contents?
What kind of "explosives" would be carried inside?

    Thanks

    Cheers

Its post ww1 ..Box H51 is normally found to carry small arms ammunition 303 is a commonly found example,This one has probably been repurposed as it is stamped up for no119 B artillery fuzes (according to the docs i have the 119 B was in service from the early 1940s until the early 1960s)
