Canco .30M1 Ammo Box - street market find

I've been considering adding one of these to my collection for a while but some are surprisingly a) relatively expensive or b) rusted out ( sometimes both...). So it was a nice surprise while strolling through London's Portobello Road streetmarket this morning to spot a nice Canco box sitting on a pile of old furniture.

Thanks ( again ) to previous research on this Forum, I knew roughly what to look for - flaming bomb, intact gasket, no interior rust at all. 'How much?'. 'A tenner, mate' - so I didn't feel robbed ; £10 doesn't buy you an awful lot these days.











Also nice again to see that this doesn't always have to be a rich man's hobby - if you keep your eyes open.
