canteen id help

Hey, just wondering if there was anyway of identifying who this canteen belonged to?.It has two initials on it (P.K AND T.T.H).It also has a number etched on the bottom H6866,is this a personal number?

Could we get some pictures of the canteen? so we can get an idea of country of origin and period

Oh yea totally forgot about that.It is American and is ww2 era.It was made in 1942 by A.GM.CO .The guy i bought it from said it was used in the pacific theatre.Will get pictures on later.Thanks.
