Default Canvas MG Ammo Belt ---Vietnam?

    Hello All,

I'm hoping that someone can help me with information about this canvas ammo belt. It's a 200 round belt, and I believe it's for .30 cal. I'm not sure what the markings represent. I was a little surprised at the rather late date, thinking that canvas belts would be outdated by the Vietnam era. Any comments or information would be appreciated.

Yes, .303 for the Vickers. Member 'Warspite' just featured one on his blog.

As earlyMB noted I wrote up the Vickers belt recently. This is my example: https://hatchfive.wordpress.com/2017...munition-belt/
