Confederate canteen,info needed

This was passed down in the family,was a relative in Civil war.Small size soldered construction,screw top,anyone ever seen one?

Thank you for the link!I know its Confederate and who used it,looks like holds about a pint,its marked canteen on the tag so that's what it is,not a lot of water but might keep you alive until the next creek ,river or pond if need be.

I'm wondering if it being smaller in size, wouldn't be intended for a younger person/drummer boy?
