    Gents,

I hope I have this item posted in the right forum? Secondly, could this be a Scottish buckle? My first of its kind that I have purchased and I need a little help if I may? I know the Scots are known for their brash and hardened tempers. So, going into combat with, "bright and shinnies" may not be out of the norm. (LOL, I'm half Scottish) Do you think this item was worn in combat? (Unfortunately it has been polished by another and there are no maker's marks either.) Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.

    Kind Regards,

    Joel
