Does anybody recognise these headphones?

I have had these for a few years now but have never found out what they are for or from which era / country. I cannot see any markings on them other than on the outside of the earpiece where it says 'TOP'. Anybody know anything about them?

I have a set of these which I display on a headform with an AAF Officers cap,
Ray Ban sunglasses, and T-30 throat microphone.

Model 'HS-33A', they were likely used in aircraft, but are probably a generic
type of AAF/USAF headset. Yours do not have a 'HB-7' headband,
and it may be an earlier type band/set which was converted.
They are post-war - 1950's, IMO..............

Seriously, that type of headphones was issued with the Wireless Remote Control Unit for the Canadian version of Wireless Set 19. I looked it up just now, and it says in my book here that the proper name for those phones is "Receivers, Headgear, MC, Mk I". They might have been used with other equipment too, but thats definitely one application.
