Default The Engravers Art, trench art from Australia.

I thought I would share these pictures I took at the Australian War Memorial, Canberra, of two superb examples of trench art engraving. Being behind glass the photography was a bit challenging but I managed to capture the dixie and the souvenired Japanese water bottle. I particularly like the tri-service design with the blue and red versions of the Australian flag on the dixie. The wiggle engraving technique is achieved with something like a small screwdriver tool I understand?

Anyone else have examples to share?

    Cheers,
    Oz.
