I've come across a couple first aid kits still in cardboard box's. Inside the cardboard are the metal first aid kits with everything still in them. What are they worth? Anyone looking?

Got any pictures? Theres loads of different varients of first aid kits out there!
Thanks
Danny
American. I'll get a few pictures tomorrow and post them. I have two still in cardboard and one kit just in the steel box.
Here is the one that is out of the cardboard box. The others are down in my storage unit, I'll get them dug out tomorrow and see if they are the same.
Also a few knives that came with them.
I think you will find that more people will be interested in the knives than the first aid kits you should have made a seperate thread for them, as for the first aid kits I cant really help you but thanks for showing the pics
Thanks
Danny
For what it's worth I just picked up a kit like that at an antique store a month or so ago. It had most of the aid equipment still in it. I got it because the box is perfect to put my extra pistol parts and cleaning supplies in. I paid $30.00 for it. Somewhere on the net recently I saw where someone was selling that strip of safety pins and asking $50.00, I don't know if they sold for that price and I can't find the site again. I'll post some pictures of mine once the sun comes up.
Mike
Well it got brighter faster than I realized.
I have one of these in my collection too, but again I will need to take some pics. Mine came devoid of any contents though.
Cheers, Ade.
ooh that's wierd- the font's on this site have just gone realy tiny!
Anyway, I'm pretty sure these kits are from jeeps, so some could be post war- I don't know- if you've got contents then you've probably got a date somewhere.
When this snow disapears and i can get up the museum i'll post some pics of a ww2 Gas Emergency version.
Love the pinstripping Pompa Mike
In the meantime here's a 1950s French copy to go with their copy jeeps.
