Grenade Bag ?

I picked up this bag , it used to have zig zag partitioning which has been removed. It looks like a grenade bag to me but I cant find any bag with the same closures, which are the same as bandoleers.

I also don't recognise the markings on the back, possibly a date of 1969.

Any ideas ?

2in Mortar bandolier. I'm geussing for smoke and Ilum rather than HE.

You would think by this time it would have a Stock Number on it, are they British or Nato or other ?

British. Many of the rifle bandoliers don't have serial no.s, so perhaps it wasn't thought necessary on disposable items. The rifle bandoliers usually came in an ammo box with all the details on the outside, so perhaps these mortar ones did too.
