With my father's belongings, I came across this wonderful sign. I am definitely keeping it, but was curious what the monetary value on an item like this would be? It's hard to research, since this is a fairly unique item. My father was in the Blue Ridge Division
The text on the mostly complete label on the back of the sign reads:
"THIS SIGN MADE IN CAMP LEE VIRG...
ABOUT SEPTEMBER 1917, WAS COMPANY HEADQUA...
SIGN OUTSIDE ORDERLY ROOM UNTIL MAY 26...
USED FOR SAME PURPOSE ON "HURON" CROSSING...
FRANCE ON EVERY ORDERLY ROOM SET UP WHILE...
FRANCE, ON "TROY" RETURNING, AND IN CAMP DIX...
N.J. UNTIL DATE OF DISCHARGE, JUNE 17, 1919
Any thoughts on the item would be interesting to read.
