Help!!!
I am looking at buying this item. I think it is a Mk II Canadian Gas Mask. The guy is asking 100$ and he claims the stampings on the case have the soldiers name branded on it. first off what do the marking mean and secondly, is 100$CAN a reasonable price for this item, if not what is a good price??? thanks!!!

It is an example of the rare long hose version of the Mk IV Respirator, complete with the correct haversack with waistbelt. Definitely worth $100 in my opinion.
The markings i can see are:
VI (Mark VI Respirator Haversack)
WOODS (the manufacturer)
1941 (the date)
