Horse Gas Mask Bag

Something a bit different which is hopefully of interest to some. New pick up is this 1941 dated bag for a horse gas mask. It's made of a grey canvas with leather fittings:

It makes an interesting contrast to my Mule Gas Mask bag:

Sadly I have been unable to find either mask to put in these bags yet...not sure who else would be daft enough to buy these, but I rather like really obscure bits of militaria!

Actually, Bruce Crompton of Axis Tracks / 'Combat Dealers' fame bought two different types of horse gasmask from a Normandy dealer in the first series of 'CD'......
