    There is a thread on the German Field Equipment forum for the humble jerrycan so I thought we could start one here?
    Here is a grouping of mine - US and British WW2 ( German pattern dated 1944 ) as well as some WD post war ( 1951/52 )

    Took a quick look - yes 1944 dated I'll pull it out for pictures over the weekend
