Markings on British shell dressing bags
I've noticed that some World War II-dated British shell dressing bags have a black square on the top flap, with "BR" or "BR 1" stenciled over it, rather than the usual "Shell dressings" marking. Are these British marks or evidence of use by other Allied nations (Norway, etc.)? Thanks!
