    The shape of the this more reminds me a British item. The "WA" number also makes me think that. US detectors were usually circular I think?

    British WWII mine detection equipment

    This is the MK1...when i first joined the TA 21 years ago we still had two sets in the store...

    Think by the size of it maybe a Vehicle mount of a type, just a thought
