    Hi all,

    This mystery pouch came back in the kitbag of a South African based in North Africa during WW2. Any comments are welcome.

    It looks like something the veteran knocked together using captured insignia from German uniforms. The wreath and cockade are from a visor cap. The numbers are unit ciphers from shoulder straps. A very interesting little keepsake.
