One for the Allies a US bag affair? 1943

Article about: Guys, Quite literally not my bag! Some sort of Yank bag dated 1943! It is in mint condition. Regards Jock

    Hi Jock, nothing wrong at all with this example.

    But most WW2 pattern US webbing is now copied for re-enactors use. I never thought I would see the day either...

    same here ade , when i think how much ww2 gi stuff my dad use to have in his shop in blackpool , now most is copied....(got my M1 carbine replica / some original parts a 10 . oh they were the days )

    And to think that I let go, some years ago, a genuine set of US riflemans belt, waterbottle, carrier and support braces all WW2 dated, along with the majority of my British 37ptn and 44ptn webbing. (I was newly married and needed the money!)

    If only I had known then what I know now!

    Yes a nice example of the M1936 Officers field bag,

    As to making reproductions of U.S web gear .........................
