    Default Paratrooper Bicycle?

I went to a local bike shop with my cousin to do some Christmas shopping, and I was surprised to see what I think is a WW2 British Paratrooper's bicycle.

I know it's military and British because It has the upward facing arrow marking. I'm assuming it's a paratrooper's bike because it has two sets of wing-nuts that can be loosened to fold the bike in half.

I'm sorry, no. We were literally in and out of the shop in 5mins, and I saw this bike out of the corner of my eye. I can always go back and try to get better pictures.

The crank seemed to have letters made into the spokes of the crank.

The Crank letters should be B. S. .A if so you got a gem!!
Lots of the cranks were sold off the bikes and replaced with others later.

How much were they asking? These bicycles are worth serious money. A friend of mine shipped a container full of these back from India around 5 years back and, in time, it bought him a Bentley, honestly!!

The bike was just hanging there in a dusty corner of the shop, beside a row of brand spanking new $3,000 mountain bikes. It didn't have a price on it, it was just sort of ... there.
