Parker Hale knee pads

Can anybody add anything about them ?

They came in some gear from Hong Kong Landforces circa 1970's.

Thick Felt lined with what looks like rubber outers.

Used them back around 1990 for cadet fullbore shooting. They were an issue item, but anyone could also buy them new, like the parker and hale service rifle sling.
..... And they go on your elbows ;-)

I have a pair myself, they work well, on the elbows.

Cool, thanks for the answers guys, maybe I am obsessed with knee pads being a plumber !

Makes more sense for the elbows as they seemed a little small.
