Article about: I have just picked up a collection of RAF items of which I know nothing as they are not my area of interest. I believe what is pictured here is a RAF escape and evasion compass. I have no id

    Default RAF escape and evasion compass?

    I have just picked up a collection of RAF items of which I know nothing as they are not my area of interest. I believe what is pictured here is a RAF escape and evasion compass. I have no idea of a date, but believe this may well be ww.2. The photo's are not that great but the little compass is sealed in a plastic/waterproof covering. As I will be listing it for sale in the sales area of the forum could someone in the know please let me know some info on it so at least its sold as what it is and not as I may want it to be. Thanks for your help.
