    Hi Ron, no idea on usage, but the webbing and brown leather keepers look Soviet to me? But the small coils I have never seen before.

    Thanks Ade. They were given to me the other day by a Friend of mine. He also gave me the 1st aid kit (1970,complete) pictured with the straps. I'll put up a pic. of the straps all laid out. Those coils are more of a spring type. Curious for sure. Thanks again, Ron
