U.S.N. Medic Pack and Surgical Case

Hi guys,

I would like to share my recent purchase --- U.S.N. Medic Pack (OD 7)

I've never seen a complete OD 7 colored example before.

I only saw complete OD 3, or OD 3 with partial OD7 examples. Looks like they all don't have any date stamped on, so it' s hard to identify the manufacturing period.

I know these packs are hard to find and pretty expansive. It took me a few years to finally able to own one.







Here is a U.S.N. M.D. Pocket Case (Surgical), which I acquired about 5 years ago. It's not dated, but definetly a wartime piece. It' s in very good condition, and only one or two things were missing. All equipments were U.S.N. marked. Since it is U.S.N. related piece so, I post it along with the pack.

May I ask is your grandfather was in the Navy or Marine?

My grandfather was in the Navy on the USS Vulcon.
