US ammo boxes

Article about: Ive got several 30 and 50 cal ammunition boxes in my collection and although they are ww2 pattern but don't know if they are wartime,does anybody know how to date them? Nigel

    Photos would help.

    I've noticed that ammo boxes had the flaming bomb logo eliminated from them post WWII.

    I will try and sort some photos out but that is interesting re the flaming bomb ,if that is the case then they are all wartime,which is nice

    thanks very much for the link ,not seen this site before and it appears to say all the ones I have are wartime,just got to find some other makes now
