Default US AO Sky Lookout Goggles w/ case

Picked these up today at a local show.

They look NIB (another two sets had the box but were more $$)

I'm not too well versed in these but the look like American Optical "Sky Lookout" Googles.

Condition is mint but the elastics is loosing it's elasticity...The foam is still soft. Len's are mint.

If anyone knows more about these (model #??) would love to hear

In my ref (Gear Up), they look very similar to the B6 goggle, standardized 19th Dec '28 & obsolete 13th Mar '44

Thanks Phil....good link. Appreciated. I've seen on the US military forum that these were also used by the Navy on ships for, as you note, guys looking into the sky.

And again...a big apology for the early call....
