    Hello Chris,

I am sorry, it was long time ago when we discuss the cleaning problem, but I just had time to clean the tent two days ago. I discuss it also in Hungary with some of my friends, collected all information, minded them and I did this:
I let the tap water rest in all night before the cleaning. I used a very few amunt liquid detergent - max 1 ml - suitable for colour clothes. The water was room tepmerature. I just softly put the tent into the water and just pushed it with my hands for a few times and let it in the water half an hour. I used rested tap water to remove the detergent too, just pushed the tent with my hands. I did not force the water out of the tent, I just let it drop out and dry in a well ventillated place in shadow. It was a complete day.
It looks nearly same now, the spots are too hard to remove them, but if I touch it it is much more clean feeling. Originally it was a little bit disgusting when I touched it. And all markings are saved!!!! The smell absolutelly disappeared.
So at the and I am happy with the result. Thanks all of you!
    Cheers

It's great when something is saved , that could easily have ended up in the trash . Thanks for the update , glad it worked out .

Take it outside and air it out of direct sunlight. You can also carefully beat the dust out of it.

If you wash it, it could fade the colour badly.
