Before 1985, the Greece become 185.000 Garand M1 from the USA as Military help.
The Greek government buy in 1970, 1.780 M1 C & 104 M1 D.
Plus all the furnishment, stocks, barels, etc.
If your stock is unmarked, it was never in WW2 US soldiers hands.
