i'll post some pics later. So far i have the m1928 pack+tail+meat can pouch, canteen carriers mounted and dismounted versions, suspenders and a Musette(my latest score ) ,pistol belt with carbine mag pouch and field dressing pouch. All Brit made.
How many pieces of webgear did the Brits make?Off the top of my head i can think of:Map case, pick/mattock carrier, wirecutter pouch, .45 mag pouch, G.P.ammo bag, M1 ammo belt, thompson drum mag bag...anything to add?
Hiya, Ade and I did a WW2 display at our Grandson's school. The local libray/museum service had loaned a Brit made US Musette bag for the schools own tiny display. It was a mint bag, but the idiots had written in BLACK INK the name of the museum in it. Ade went nuts when he saw it...
Cheers, Lez.
