USAAF life vests

I recently picked up these USAAF life vests and am very happy to have them. The one with the single CO2 bottle is a Model LP-31 while the other is a Type B-4. I hope to acquire some similar RAF and Luftwaffe vests also.

What are the manufacturing dates?

I'm not certain (the mfg dates have faded on both) but my guess in 1944/45.

Very cool. I just picked up my first one a few weeks ago. Unfortunately some of the dye had leaked on mine. Yours look to be in great condition.

Now if I can just find a Luftwaffe vest for a good price it would go nicely with these.
