    I have a HBT USMC jacket I am thinking of throwing some field gear on and I am curious about markings. Were the marines issued field gear with only USMC stampings or did they also receive kit with the standard "US" stamp?

    it wasnt unknown for them to "liberate" replacement kit from the army when supplies were short
