    Default Vietnam war era poncho?

Hey Guys - is it possible that this US poncho liner was made during the Vietnam war? The code is "DSA" (Defense Supply Agency) DSA 100 68 C 2726 (I think if it's DSA, it could be NAM era since it was changed to "DLA" after the war.)
The seller thinks it was made in the late 1980s, and basically the price is cheap accordingly (around 15 USD).
Also, the camo pattern is "woodland" if I'm correct?

    Cheers,
    Fabe

Hi Fabe, Woodland is way too late to have been used in Vietnam. I think the 1980's issue date is closer.

Thanks for the reply - but if it's 1980s made, it should have a "DLA" code (DSA was used until 1975) maybe?

if you look at some color images from the conflict.. you will find solders wearing a woodland pattern that is much the same as the one you have posted. i have found it interesting always thought woodland camo was used in the 80s by the U.S army.

Very nice! Was this camo pattern "exclusive" for the USMC?
