Hello lads
An nice old gentleman , who has a shed full of wonderful bit and bobs has dug this out for me.
Im thinking 1st WW1 but if any of you guys could pin it down for me it would much appreciated.

I don't think it is a bandolier mate, to me it looks like a heap of the smaller cavalry belt pouches clipped together
